nionet is a virtual private network that makes use of the ethernet standard for the data transmission over different network protocols.

Supported protocols are, among others: DHCP, TCP/IP, ARP and IPX that work for the user just like an ethernet connection.

nionet is compatible with all protocols that work over 802.3 ethernet. The transport runs over UDP.
